The walls are quite thin, allowing sounds from neighboring rooms to easily carry through, affecting the quality of sleep.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was truly remarkable. From the well-maintained outdoor areas to the clean and tidy rooms, it was evident that the staff took great care in ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms themselves were equipped with everything one could want, including a ceiling fan, air-conditioning, and even a TV. One particular highlight was having a balcony overlooking the stunning Knuckles Mountain Range - a truly breathtaking view. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful, always going the extra mile to make sure guests were comfortable. And let's not forget the delicious breakfasts! I never went hungry thanks to the generous portions and variety of options available.

I could hardly fault this hotel; everything was simply fantastic.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the stunning views from the property which was located uphill. The surroundings were peaceful and the staff was really friendly. We found the rooms clean and well-maintained. The location was a bit far from the downtown area and we needed to take a tuk-tuk to get there. However, the walk towards the town was relaxing and leisurely.

The uphill location of the property might not be comfortable for some guests, especially those with mobility challenges. , there were no clear pedestrian areas near the highway.

Stunning views, delicious food, spacious rooms, hot water in bathrooms, large balcony with lovely views.

Sri Lanka offers a range of holiday experiences, from lounging on sun-kissed beaches to spotting wildlife and visiting ancient cities. Amazing landscapes and delicious tea. Wow! Cons: Couldn't believe how noisy and dirty it was. Seriously, who needs sleep or hygiene? Not me apparently.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Haven Guest House. The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely swimming pool and nice terraces. The free breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even arranged tuktuks for us at a great price to explore the area. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic experience.

Although a bit complicated for some tuktuk drivers, with some luck you can find a smart one who knows the way to the hotel in just 5 minutes from the center.
