this place is clean, and just a 1-minute walk from the beach. the staff was super friendly and even helped with vegan food options. i loved the complimentary tea/coffee every evening in my room.

If you ask me, I had a room above a quirky restaurant with a name that makes you wonder. the room was spacious, with a huge bed and a separate single bed that went unused. Not much of a view, just a balcony facing the car park. No aircon but the fan was quiet. I paid about £10 a night, so can't complain. the room was clean, except for a mysterious liquid on the balcony that was promptly cleaned up. not too shabby for the price!

Great Budget Stay in Negombo: A Hidden Gem

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff was very welcoming, and the location right by the beach front was perfect for relaxing walks. the complimentary tea/coffee in the evenings was a nice touch, and the Sri Lankan breakfast and rice & curry for dinner were delicious. improvements could be made by adding a mosquito net in the room and having a floor mat outside the bathroom to keep the floor dry.
