The hotel was very clean, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The rooftop terrace offered an amazing view. The staff was friendly and helpful, even preparing the room early for our convenience. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money offered by this hotel. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of service and amenities provided. Additionally, the staff at this hotel were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They were helpful in organizing transportation and even provided recommendations for late-night dining options. The location of the hotel was also a major highlight, as it was conveniently located close to the train station and harbor. Lastly, the rooms offered great views and were equipped with comfortable beds and showers.

The breakfast at this hotel was a bit disappointing. While the fruit was flavorless, I did enjoy the home-made omelette.

We had a fantastic experience at Golden Pier City. Theveen at the front desk was amazing, providing us with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The room was newly refurbished and had a nice aircon and a bathroom with strong water pressure in the shower. The food served at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. The rooftop offered stunning views of the city and shoreline, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink.

Our stay was not all positive. The bed sheets were not fresh and had stains on them, which made for an uncomfortable night's rest.

The hotel also arranged a car for our day trip to Kandy and Jaffna at a reasonable cost, ensuring we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. The WiFi initially had some speed issues, but upon our complaint, they immediately fixed it by installing a WiFi extender in our room. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent service.
