The guesthouse is nestled in a serene location surrounded by beautiful rice fields, offering a peaceful retreat away from the city hustle. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any queries or suggestions. The breakfast and dinner served are delicious, offering a taste of the local cuisine. Additionally, the guesthouse provides the convenience of bike rentals, allowing easy exploration of the surrounding area. However, the wifi can be occasionally unreliable. In general, everything else about this place is perfect.

Lovely host, amazing cook. Short notice Sri Lankan dinner, local priced beers. Comfortable beds, spacious and clean rooms. Great breakfast, must try hoppers with banana. Unbelievably helpful staff, beautiful rooms with stunning view. All amenities provided. Excellent bike hire and Tuk Tuk driver. Absolutely amazing experience.

We had an amazing stay at a bed & breakfast with a fantastic view of the rice fields. The owner was friendly and discreet, making us feel like we were in a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with both AC and a fan. The breakfast provided was delicious, including eggs, sausages, fruits. The location was convenient, with easy access to Mihintale and Anuradhapura. it was great value for money and we highly recommend Heaven Upon Rice Fields Bed & Breakfast.

our stay at heaven upon rice fields was amazing! the hosts were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the rooms were spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the rice fields. the homemade sri lankan dinner and breakfast were delicious. it was the perfect place to unwind and relax.

The value for money at Heaven Upon Rice Fields was great, with a comfortable room and stunning views of the rice fields. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful nature setting close to the town center. The family who owns and runs the hotel treated us like part of their family, and their TUK TUK guide made our stay even more enjoyable.

Felt lucky, no complaints at all

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise. The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hosts were very helpful, providing valuable insight into the local culture and helping us arrange a memorable trip to a nearby safari park.

The external parts of the guest house could use some maintenance as they appeared untidy. The shower plumbing in our room needed attention, with water spraying from the cold tap and lukewarm water supply.

We had the most amazing stay at Heaven Upon Rice Fields. The guesthouse is small with only 3 rooms, but the panoramic views of the rice fields from the air-conditioned rooms upstairs were breathtaking. We loved sitting on the balcony, enjoying the peacefulness and watching the wildlife. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast they served was delicious. The location was perfect for exploring Anuradhapura. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, helping me organize transportation and even arranging a day tour of the nearby ruins. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as it was situated in a calm area away from the noisy city, yet still close to everything, including the ruins.
