The Pool View Luxury Tent was spacious and clean, with a mosquito net provided. The lunch buffet had delicious Sri Lankan cuisine, although it was mostly spicy. Dinner was served in the room due to heavy rain, and breakfast was packed for our early departure. The hotel had lush surroundings, two swimming pools, and a small play area for kids. The jungle safari organized by the hotel was amazing, with sightings of elephants, peacocks, crocodiles, jackals, and various birds. The guide had a keen eye and helped us spot animals we initially missed.

The rooms are spacious and come with clean bathrooms and mosquito nets. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the buffet dinner offers a variety of Sri Lankan and Western dishes.

We had a fantastic safari organized through the hotel. The driver was great and the experience was amazing. The pool was nice and childproof. Malee, the hotel staff, was very helpful in organizing everything for us.

I had a fabulous stay at a unique and beautiful property in Udawalawe. The independent cottages were surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The location was convenient, just a short distance from the main road and the entrance to Udawalawe National Park. The highlight of my stay was the fantastic breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my time there. The hotel also arranged a memorable morning safari for me, allowing me to witness the incredible wildlife of Sri Lanka. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited wifi and a slightly underwhelming bathroom, I would happily recommend this hotel to others. it was a fabulous experience and excellent value for money.

The property was really clean and bigger than I expected. the standard room had everything I needed. the staff helped me organize a safari and provided an excellent guide who knew a lot about the animals. - the hotel was in a great location, with easy access to a limestone cave trip that I highly recommend.

The mosquitos and ants in the bathroom were a bit annoying, but I understand it's difficult to control them. I accidentally got charged twice at check-out, but the staff were very helpful in fixing the mistake.

What an incredible weekend! Not only was the food delicious, but the rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of amenities - including towels! the serene view of the nearby lake, set against the breathtaking backdrop of surrounding natural wilderness, made for some unforgettable relaxation.

It's hard to find fault with this idyllic hotel! the only downside was the heat in one of the rooms that lacked adequate shading during the hottest hours of the day.

This hotel is situated by a beautiful river that creates a serene atmosphere and keeps you company with its animal sounds. The staff is very friendly and the outdoor bathrooms are a unique experience. The hotel breakfast has many vegetarian options that cater to dietary needs.

All in all, this hotel was a great experience and there were no significant drawbacks to speak of.

The value for money at Kottawatta Village was excellent, and the room was comfortable and uniquely designed. The location was great, with easy access to the town and the National Park. The staff treated us like family, offering cold towels and refreshing drinks upon arrival, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

The only improvement needed was the food for breakfast, as the starting time of 8:00am was a bit late for early risers like us.

We got great value for our money with a lovely luxury tent, complete with an amazing al fresco shower and a cozy bed with a mosquito net. The location was peaceful and set back from the road, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful grounds and the sounds of birds and monkeys right outside our tent. The staff at dinner were incredibly friendly and even arranged for us to have a romantic table on the lawn one night with fire torches surrounding us. The buffet dinner was delicious and extensive, and we were especially impressed by the chef's coconut roti. We also enjoyed a refreshing dip in the nice pool. our stay at Kottawatta Village was a unique and positive experience.

The food for breakfast could have been improved to make it even better.

We visited as a family with small kids and enjoyed the hospitality from the first moment. Excellent location for a safari in the nearby national park. Our kids loved the Jeep safari, and the recommended morning tour was perfect for them. We saw a variety of wildlife and even monkeys in the nearby trees. The room with pool view and outside bathroom was a unique experience. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, arranging taxis and safari jeeps for us. We felt like royalty at a good price. Highly recommend teaming up with other guests for the safari to save costs and the environment.
