Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Maya Tangalle provides a serene and picturesque setting, with peacocks freely roaming in the nearby paddy fields. The rooms are luxurious and well-appointed, with period furniture and fantastic bed and bath linens. The attentive and friendly staff ensure excellent service throughout your stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and indulge in the culinary delights prepared by the talented chef. the hotel offers a large swimming pool and private patios in some rooms for added convenience and relaxation.

Mosquitoes can be quite bothersome during the stay.

This hotel provided an elegant and sophisticated experience. The service was impeccable and the spa & wellness centre was exquisite in both treatment and relaxation. The outdoor swimming pool is stunning and the sun terrace was very comfortable. The garden area was well-maintained, which added to the feeling of luxury and exclusivity. The Restaurant provided wonderful in-room breakfast with an excellent selection of special diet menus.

The hotel's location was slightly remote and took longer to arrive, but once there, it was worth the extra effort.

Beautiful colonial property with peacocks in adjacent paddy field. Attentive service, even played cricket with my husband. Yoga in morning, lazy days by pool. Managers Silva and Danesh went above and beyond for a great stay.

Spent the most amazing Xmas holidays in a breathtaking colonial house by the sea. Loved the beautifully designed rooms with great attention to detail and fantastic bathroom amenities. the service was faultless, with staff being very accommodating and kind. the food was some of the best we had during our entire stay in Sri Lanka, with delicious local cuisine and a great choice of healthy options. the location was perfect, surrounded by gorgeous gardens with peacocks roaming around and stunning views of the paddy fields.

The morning chants were quite loud and annoying, but the provided earplugs did help. the hotel lacked a TV, but who needs it with such an idyllic setting and so many other entertainment options around.
