Ivy Lake surprised me with their exceptional service. I requested to store my medication in their fridge, and they were more than happy to accommodate. They even prepared fruits and milk rice for me to offer at the sacred temples. The staff went above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. The room conditions were outstanding, providing excellent comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. I was truly impressed with my stay at Ivy Lake. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and value for money.

Spent my Christmas at this hotel and had a great time. the staff was very helpful and friendly, going out of their way to fulfill our requests. the room was exceptional, with great comfort, cleanliness, and facilities. the location was perfect, allowing easy access to the nearby tourist attractions. the best part about the stay was the exceptional driver they booked for our Sigiriya transfer, who took us to visit the Dambulla caves and gold temple as well.

We did face one major issue during the stay- the plugs in the room were British, and we weren't able to charge our devices as we did not have the right adapter. While we did ask for an adapter at reception, it was not available.

The hotel was cozy, clean and had excellent bathrooms. The location was convenient, with easy access to town and the train station. Plenty of cheap dining options nearby. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. They provided amenities like mosquito repellent and bike rentals.
