I had a delightful experience staying at the Mountain Lodge in Abisko. the staff was extremely kind and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. the location of the lodge, nestled above the lake and close to Lapporten, offered breathtaking views. It was also conveniently situated near the "center" of Abisko, making it easy to explore the area. the food at the lodge was delicious, and they had a great selection of local Swedish beers. I particularly enjoyed using the well-maintained sauna facilities, although I didn't get a chance to try the sauna itself. I had a fantastic stay and can't wait to return.

Finally achieved my dream of seeing Lapporten up close, and the trail even carried me through a dramatic valley! The surrounding mountains reflected in the crystal clear lake were like a painting. Marvelous!

We would definitely book the superior double room next time for more space and a private porch.
