The hotel's location on the river was amazing, with a picturesque view and close to everything. The room was bright and spacious, with a fan and plenty of windows for fresh air. The staff was extremely helpful and cheerful, even providing ice and fruit for water. The ambience of the whole place was lovely, with wide floorboards and beautiful wrought iron railings. a delightful experience.

The value for money at the East West Hotel was excellent, especially with the upgraded room we received. The room itself was beautifully decorated with a great view of the river. The location right on the river was perfect for exploring the historic old town. What really stood out though was the exceptional staff, especially Mr. Hengstenberg who went above and beyond to accommodate us.

As for breakfast items, it would have been nice to have separate shampoo in the shower instead of the all-in-one liquid.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the river, providing a beautiful view from the riverside rooms. The proximity to the tram stop makes it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the hotel offers fish-shaped dry bags for guests to use during their stay, adding a unique touch. Furthermore, its close proximity to Messe is a great advantage for those attending events or conferences.

Some of the rooms might be affected by noise from nearby construction and pubs in the area during late hours.

The location of this hotel could not have been better for bars and restaurants. Situated by the river, it offers a very nice river view. It's also very central, just across the river from the old city center, making it easy to wander and get around. The basic amenities and rooms with a window on to the street are a nice touch, and at no extra charge.

The breakfast service could be improved, as some items were not replenished and others never reappeared.

We had a great stay at East-West Riverside Hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to Basel's old town and the tram line. The rooms were clean and modern, and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the Rhine from our room. The staff, though still learning, were friendly and helpful. Despite a minor issue with noise and the lack of a kettle in the room, we would definitely return for another short trip. we highly recommend this hotel.
