From the outside, the hotel didn't seem like much, but once inside I was transported back in time, like a toned down Wes Anderson film. The room was spacious and well-appointed, the concierge provided excellent service, and the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel's location was great for exploring the lake and the old town, and the food was amazing. The decor was a real Art Deco gem and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well. a real find and I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel very welcome. The spacious room and comfortable bed added to my overall experience. The fact that the hotel offered a decent breakfast and convenient parking below the hotel were also definite pluses. Moreover, the great towels provided were an added bonus.

There were a couple of downsides to my stay. The dated decor, especially in the bathroom, could use some renovation.
