We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, and we couldn't believe how well-maintained it was, despite being a bit dated. Although the bed was a little hard, it was still comfortable enough for our two-night stay. The location of this hotel was perfect, right in the middle of everything. We were pleased to find a Starbucks and a quick mart right next door. The hotel's restaurant also exceeded our expectations and served delicious food. Additionally, we were impressed with the hotel's proximity to the train station, which made traveling convenient. Moreover, the hotel had a funicular railway adjacent to it, allowing for easy transportation within the city. The staff was helpful and the wifi had a decent speed, which was a pleasant surprise. The availability of umbrellas was a thoughtful touch, especially during the rainy days. we highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location, and helpful staff.

I couldn't believe the value for money at Hotel Limmathof - the room was even bigger than I expected and the bathroom had a bathtub for some much-needed relaxation. The location was unbeatable, right near the central station and surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The only improvement needed for breakfast would be to add some fresh fruit to the menu.

Located in a fantastic spot, the Hotel Limmathof offers a convenient stay in the heart of the city. With its close proximity to the main train station and multiple tram lines right outside, getting around Zurich is a breeze. the historic Polybahn even runs right below some of the rooms, adding a charming touch to the experience. the room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable, exceeding European standards in terms of size. the staff was helpful, allowing us to store our bags after check-out so we could explore the city. Plus, the hotel provided a European to Swiss plug adapter for a small deposit. a superb location and a wonderful stay.
