I particularly enjoyed the restaurant, which served delicious breakfasts. Although it may be small and get busy, it's definitely worth the wait or an early visit. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for an authentic Alaskan experience.

While the communal bathrooms in the historic wing were a slight inconvenience, it didn't overshadow the overall experience. The hotel's great amenities and ideal location made it an excellent choice for exploring Seward. I highly recommend this hidden gem of an inn.

the staff was friendly and helpful, and they even picked up our bags from the train station and brought them directly to the hotel. the hotel itself has a charming and historic feel, with photos and articles from the past displayed throughout. the room we stayed in had a stunning view of the harbor from its five windows, which all had blackout shades to block out the midnight sun. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the hotel had recently been refurbished and now has an elevator. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfasts at "Gene's Place," especially the superb Eggs Benedict. it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return.

This hotel in downtown Seward is in a great location, right near the sea life center. It's a perfect spot to explore the area and enjoy all the activities nearby. The rooms are quaint and clean, with two twin beds and even pet-friendly. The staff provides basic amenities and the breakfast in the restaurant is still quite good. Despite being understaffed, the service was friendly and attentive. The prices are also reasonable, offering good value for money.
