The location of this hotel was unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town. Perfect for exploring and close to bars and restaurants. The hotel offered a free public transport pass, making it convenient to get around the city.

Visited for the Christmas markets and the hotel couldn’t be better located - the market is literally on the doorstep. Clean, comfortable, and good value. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast had a good variety and was quickly replenished. Close to attractions with nearby public transportation. Relaxing bar area downstairs.

The Motel One in Basel is extremely convenient to reach, with easy access on foot from the railway station and by tram. It's centrally located near beautiful old buildings and a church, making it an ideal location for exploring the city. Additionally, it's right next to the Christmas market, perfect for immersing oneself in the festive atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and create a pleasant ambiance, which is especially great for families.

I felt incredibly comfortable during my stay at Motel One Basel, with no complaints whatsoever.

We stayed at Motel One for our half marathon in the tri-border area. The staff greeted us warmly and even gave my boyfriend a complimentary birthday cocktail. The rooms were clean and well presented, and the lounge area in the reception was cozy for pre-dinner drinks. The location was perfect, with trams, shops, museums, and restaurants right at our doorstep. We'll definitely be returning!

Complimentary tram pass made transportation easy, with trams running every 6 minutes. a great option for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The value for money at Motel One was excellent with a nice and large room, complete with a walk-in shower. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Town and close to the Christmas market. The staff were attentive and helpful, making our stay even better.

Our new year at a hotel was better than expected! We received two complimentary drinks upon arrival which was a thoughtful gesture. the hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and bars, making it easy to have a good time. Plus, the stunning city view from our room was an additional bonus that we loved.

Our stay wasn't perfect. the room was incredibly small, and there was barely any space to move around.

We had a fantastic stay at Motel One in the heart of Basel. the location was incredibly central, making it perfect for running the Basel 10k race. After completing the run, we were able to return to the hotel for a refreshing shower before the 12:00 checkout. the hotel is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, providing plenty of options for dining and entertainment. the rooms, although basic, were clean and nicely decorated, following a pleasant color scheme throughout the hotel. We were particularly impressed with the excellent shower facilities. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Basel.

The location is really convenient, surrounded by trams and well-located to visit the Vitra Museum in Germany and everything else. The rooms are clean and modern, with access to elevator and high-quality TV. The bathroom has an excellent shower. You can have a nice breakfast with juicy fruits and tasty cold meats for 18 CHF. Helpful and friendly staff.
