Had a decent stay with stunning views, but the heating was a bummer, and the constant bright green light from the emergency exit made sleep tricky. Chur for the cozy room though!

Had a grand stay! The views of the loch were simply breathtaking, and the room was clean and comfy. Dinner was mighty nice, but the brekkie lacked a bit of variety, especially for vegetarians. Overall, a solid experience, but there's room for improvement.

The paving slabs at the entrance are broken, creating a tripping hazard!!! The faulty shower lacked pressure and was missing a safety rail!!! Overall cleanliness needed improvement, and the blocked view from the room left much to be desired!!!

I enjoyed the stunning views from my room and the delicious dinner on the first night, but was disappointed by the lack of variety at breakfast. I'd stay again!

The bar was warm and inviting with stunning views over the loch (just breathtaking! ). The breakfast spread was solid, with friendly staff making sure everything was running smoothly.

balmacara is just a 5-minute drive from the skye bridge, making it a perfect base for exploring the island. the double room with sea view we stayed in was nice, and my vegetarian spouse loved the dinner, which was really delicious. the cozy bar and restaurant had great food and drinks, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

i'd say the breakfast could use a bit more variety for a perfect start to the day.
