The stunning sea view from my upgraded room was absolutely fantastic. As a disabled guest, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility and their willingness to accommodate me and my son in the new pool and spa area. The location of the hotel was also a major plus, with its close proximity to the beautiful Lac Léman and easy access to Montreux main train station. Furthermore, the hotel offered top-class facilities, amenities, and service, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The on-site spa/wellness center was a definite highlight, and the restaurant served delicious cuisine with excellent service.

Beautiful lakeside location

During our stay at Royal Plaza, we were lucky enough to have a room with a stunning lakeside view. The sight of the peaceful lake every morning was truly breathtaking and made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town center, and we enjoyed strolling along the lovely promenade to reach the heart of the town. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We opted for the continental breakfast, which, although lacking in fresh fruits, was adequate for those who prefer a lighter morning meal. Despite the presence of coach trips, the hotel remained peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time there. we had a wonderful experience at Royal Plaza, and we would highly recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Montreux and had an amazing experience. The location was fantastic, right on the promenade, and the view from my room was incredible. The staff was incredibly friendly and the spa facilities were a great bonus. I even had the opportunity to go bathe in the lake across the promenade. The hotel also offered parking, although at an extra fee. The room itself was larger than most I've stayed in and matched the expectations of a 5-star hotel. Additionally, I was given a "Montreux riviera card" that allowed me to use public transportation and even take a train up a nearby mountain for free.

Spacious, modern rooms. Incredible Swiss Alps view. Convenient parking. Great breakfast, bar, and restaurant. Wonderful location on lake promenade.

Nothing not to like.

The hotel's location was ideal, close to the downtown area and train station, providing easy access to the Jazz Festival venues. The beautiful surroundings of the hotel, with facilities right by the lake, offered stunning views of lake Leman. The rooms, such as the upgraded junior suite and executive suite, were spacious, clean, and well-appointed.

The breakfast area could be crowded, making it difficult to find a seat at times.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with stunning views and just a stone's throw from the Jazz Festival and Music in the Park. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with excellent facilities like a great shower and comfy beds. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is delicious with plenty of options available.

Some of the decor is a little outdated and in need of an update.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at my upgraded Executive suite with stunning lake views. The South Asian inspired décor with chic European furniture was both comfortable and luxurious. The attentive staff, notably Ricardo, provided exceptional service throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

our longer stay at the hotel was fantastic. exceeded expectations and surpassed our previous visit in montreux. top-class service, stunning lake views, and a convenient location for exploring the area. we enjoyed the spa, delicious cuisine, and being close to the christmas markets and festivals. would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast could have been better.

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel, enjoying the exclusive amenities such as the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and treatment rooms. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff meeting our every need. The Spa & wellness centre was outstanding, with a variety of beauty treatments available. The outdoor dining area was a perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal and the location was ideal, providing stunning views of the lake. Our room was exquisite, complete with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We had in-room breakfast every morning, which was delicious and an excellent start to the day.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the limited seating available at the bar/lounge area. However, this was not a significant inconvenience, and the staff did everything to accommodate our needs.

We stayed in a conveniently located hotel, not far from the city center and close to Auditorium Strawinsky. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake, which added to the overall experience. The spacious room and comfortable bed provided a relaxing stay.

The disappointment came when we realized that the indoor swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our visit, leaving us unable to enjoy this facility.

We had a fantastic stay at a luxury hotel directly on the lake. The view from the bar was breathtaking and the garden was lovely. The spacious rooms were very comfortable, and the bathroom products were high quality. The service was impeccable, especially at the restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hotel also had excellent amenities including a gym, indoor pool with jacuzzi, and sauna. a perfect place to stay in Montreux.

Happy new year! Just got back from a beautiful hotel and want to share my experience. We were really impressed with the location; right on the lake with stunning views from our balcony. They offered two free drinks at check-in, which was a nice touch. We also enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the bar area. The spa facilities were great, although limited to a short time period.

We weren't impressed with the breakfast; it was a bit basic and didn't meet our expectations.

Convenient location, close to public transport and within walking distance of attractions. Comfortable room with stunning views. Excellent Spar and restaurant with friendly staff. Well-maintained facility despite its age. 😉
