Spent Christmas here and it was great! the breakfast buffet was good enough, although I was disappointed that the Panorama restaurant wasn't open. the hotel is not in town, which means fresh air, quietness, and amazing views. You have to take a funicular to get there, and the cable railway fee is included in the overnight cost. the hotel is well maintained and clean, with a unique character and atmosphere.

There were a few things that could have been better. the hotel staff could improve their customer service.

We had a memorable stay at this charming hotel nestled in the mountains. The location, accessible only by a funicular railway, added to the sense of adventure. Within close proximity to the main building, there are two additional restaurants where we enjoyed delicious meals. The rooms, though rustic in decor, were clean and well-maintained. The friendly staff provided exceptional service, making our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including a cook-to-order egg station. The breathtaking views from the balcony were simply awe-inspiring.

Some of the decor in the hotel was a bit rundown, which detracted from the overall experience.

Amazing location on the mountain top, with private ski area and sledge run. Historical wooden building with original furnishings. Beautiful Belle Epoque dining room and bar/lounge with open fire. All bedrooms have fantastic mountain views with sun loungers. Access by funicular railway.

Accessible via funicular, separate parking area nearby. Good WiFi, breakfast with fresh produce. Sauna, bar, and restaurant available.

Beautiful setting and friendly staff. the hotel had live music and a cozy bar area with a fireplace. There were multiple saunas which were a great addition and the breakfast was a highlight, with many vegetarian options and vegan milk choices available.

The hotel was overpriced for the experience given. Parking was an additional charge, food was mediocre at best, and the dress code for dinner was unreasonable.
