the elegant double room had an unbearable odour, not a great first impression. I woudl ve been thrilled if I had been offered a room upgrade after this inconvenience instead of the usual treatment. the mattress is so soft, I might as well sleep on a cloud of fluff. i almost gave a good review, but I just couldn’t.

the bed was painfully soft, making it impossible to sleep well. breakfast ran out before I could even enjoy it, how disappointing! also, I expected an upgrade for my troubles, but just got standard treatment like everyone else. We had a wonderful stay with our family at this cozy hotel. The location is super convenient, just a stone's throw from the Taichung Railway Station. We took advantage of the area shuttle to explore some amazing nearby attractions. The breakfast was a tasty treat to kick off our busy days out with the grandkids.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly breakfast options.

this hotel is really close to the train station, which is super convenient. the staff here, especially gary and nick, are so helpful and friendly. when we lost our phone, they really went outta their way to help us find it! the room was clean and comfy. They have laundry facilities which is great. breakfast was decent too, good way to start the day!

It was just a fitting option for a cursory stop in Taichung with high value for money. The staff prepared a little surprise for our anniversary, which was a delightful touch. Be sure to ask for local food recommendations at the front desk.
