I recently stayed at a hotel in Taitung and had a great experience. Formosan Naruwan Hotel was perfect for us as we had a car and there were plenty of free underground parking spaces available. The location of the hotel was at the edge of the city, away from traffic noises, and provided a beautiful view of both the mountains and the ocean. We were impressed with our family room on the 10th floor, which had four twin beds that were surprisingly close to full size by US standards. The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome with a voucher for a free cocktail upon arrival. The breakfast had a wide variety of Eastern and Western choices, and the staff were very attentive. The outdoor pool and spa facilities added to our enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Formosan Naruwan Hotel and would definitely visit again.
