Great city break hotel. We received a surprise room upgrade with a fancy bathtub. the comfy bed and soundproofing made for some amazing night's rest. Location was perfect for foodies and metro lovers alike. Being so close to Dongmen Market offered abundant food choices while also being a short walk from the MRT.

Thin walls made it easy to hear our neighbours, but this was counteracted by the upgrade we were given with soundproofing.

This hotel is a great value for the money. The prices are affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and excellent service provided by the staff. The location is outstanding, being in the center of Taipei and within walking distance from Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The convenience for food and transportation is second to none if you wish to visit Taipei. The rooms are big enough and have all the amenities we expected, making our stay comfortable. The breakfast is tasty and we really enjoyed the decent selection of both Asian and Western dishes offered.

The rooms are rather small compared to the same price we paid for in some of the hotels we stayed in during our travel around the world.

I recently stayed at Check Inn Express in Taipei for a performance at the national theatre. The staff was super friendly and offered thoughtful services like map leaflets and breakfast delivery. The hotel is conveniently located near the theatre and a metro station. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had great soundproofing. The free laundry, complimentary water and snacks, and close proximity to Dongmen Market were also wonderful features. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were extremely reasonable considering the prime location in the Zhongzheng district, right next to the Dongmen subway station. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, especially the ones with windows that offered a great view of the city. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The basic amenities provided were more than satisfactory, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese tub in my room, adding a touch of luxury to my stay. The breakfast spread had a wide variety of options that catered to different tastes and the quality was top-notch.
