We had a comfortable stay in a spacious room at a great location, within walking distance to most attractions. The mattress was comfortable, and the room had adequate facilities. The hotel provided nice touches like free tea and bottled water. The staff were helpful and kind.

The wifi connection was slow.

Great location for temple tour, near Chikhan Tower. Friendly staff, excellent English. Large, clean room. Comfortable mattresses, spacious. Adequate facilities, but slow wifi. Walking distance to attractions. Kind staff. Delicate breakfast from nearby restaurant. Famous local eateries nearby. New facilities, cable tv with 100+ channels, high speed wifi. Close to Tainan tourist bus stops. Delicious eateries and Family Mart across the street.

The tea bags in the lobby were a cool touch, and the location was walking distance to all the main attractions. It was also nice that there was a washing machine in the basement for those staying for more than one night.

The basement was creepy and not a place I felt safe going to use the washing machine. the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom was not ideal and the small sign made it hard to find the place.

My stay at Hotel Brown - Chihkan Branch was fantastic! I stayed for three days for a temple tour, and the hotel's central location made it a breeze to visit the Chikhan Tower, a famous historic site just around the corner. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. I also loved that the hotel had Oolong tea bags at the lobby, a delightful touch. Additionally, having a washing machine in the basement was incredibly helpful for travelers like me who stayed for more than one night. Lastly, being able to walk to key attractions and find great food within walking distance made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Hotel Brown - Chihkan Branch, for the wonderful hospitality!

I would highly recommend this hotel.
