What a magical experience! Surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views of the mountains, this lodge provided the perfect escape for my New Year's getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the Bauhaus architecture added a unique touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh and tasty options on the menu. I also appreciated the reliable WiFi and the option to arrange transportation to nearby attractions.

While the lodge was overall fantastic, there were a few minor downsides. The rooms could get a bit chilly at night, but the staff provided extra bedding to keep warm.

The rooms were stylish and clean, with hot water that was actually hot. The bathroom was super clean and nice. The breakfast, served just before you arrive, was tasty and fresh, with delicious homemade passion fruit jam. The manager was super organized and ensured everything you needed for a comfortable stay was already set up, saving you from any hassle after a long trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the landscapes around the lodge were dramatic and breathtaking.

We stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for our Kili climb and it exceeded our expectations! the location is serene, with beautiful views of the surrounding wildlife and a peaceful atmosphere. the rooms were stylish and comfortable, and we loved having a private terrace facing the rainforest. the food at the lodge was delicious and reasonably priced, and the bar had a great selection of drinks. We enjoyed the terrace where we could relax and take in the mystical view of the mist-covered summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. the manager, Thomas, provided excellent advice and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Kaliwa Lodge was the perfect place to eat, sleep, and relax.

We had a fantastic experience at Kaliwa Lodge. the location is perfect, with a stunning view of Kilimanjaro. the staff, including Justina, Josephine, Vivian, and Lina, were incredibly warm. the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. the meals were delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and high-quality ingredients. the lodge also provided a cozy living room with a fire, perfect for chilly evenings. Justina even went above and beyond, organizing a hike to Kilimanjaro with a knowledgeable guide and taking care of our misplaced luggage. the deck overlooking the river was a truly special place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
