Perfect central location with access to everything. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The beach and pool areas were perfect for relaxing. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a lovely Zanzibar stay.

Located in a beautiful area, with two nice pools and a rooftop pool to admire the sunset. Delicious breakfast included in the price and helpful staff at the reception desk. One of the best options to stay in Stonetown.

The hotel was located in a prime position with the stunning beach right in front, perfect for sunbathing and beach walks. It was also conveniently located close to Stone Town, offering easy access to restaurants and shops. Plus, it was possible to arrange boating to Prison Island from the beach behind the hotel. Guests loved the breathtaking views from the room, fresh and delicious breakfast, and the well-maintained facilities.

Service at the hotel's outside café was a bit slow.

I recently stayed at Tembo House for a work meeting and couldn't have been happier. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet our needs. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and the freshly cooked eggs and pancakes were a highlight. The beach sun loungers were comfortable and the security guard ensured a peaceful experience. The pool was also lovely and refreshing. I especially appreciated the hotel's commitment to sustainability, providing a water dispenser to reduce single-use plastics. a fantastic stay with excellent customer service and great location.

As a budget traveler, I loved the value for money at Tembo Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with large beds. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore Stonetown and visit nearby attractions like Prison Island. The pool was a great alternative to swimming in the sea, and the hotel was conveniently close to an ATM and a local market. Mama Mia, a coffee shop nearby, served amazing Italian ice cream and coffee. Tembo Hotel was a perfect choice for a budget-friendly and centrally located stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar for my vacation. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were top-notch. I loved the fact that it was right at the beach, allowing me to enjoy the cool breeze and watch the local activities. The location was also convenient, as it was close to the center of Stone Town.

The location beside the Indian Ocean was unbeatable, with ever-changing scenery of boats, sunsets, and people. The hotel was within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in Stone Town. The pool was clean and refreshing, and there were multiple outside areas to relax, enjoy the sunset, and get a drink or a bite to eat. The internet was fast and reliable, and there was a nice balcony with a view of the ocean. Meals were tasty, and the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs.

Felt truly spoiled, nothing to complain about.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, just by the beach and close to the center of Stone Town. It was very easy to find as it's very close to the ferry. The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety of options. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage and checking us in early. The hotel is in an amazing location, right on the beach and within walking distance of the main attractions. The two swimming pools were a great addition, especially the one with the infinity view for watching the sunset. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel also offers assistance with organizing trips and transfers, which made our stay even more convenient. I highly recommend Tembo House for a convenient and enjoyable stay in Stone Town.

Spent Christmas here and had an overall good stay. the complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were a plus. the hotel was located near the beach and local attractions, making it easy to get around. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure our stay was enjoyable. the room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep.

The air conditioning was not as efficient as we would have liked, leaving the room quite warm at times. there was some noise from nearby establishments that persisted into the late hours of the night, making it difficult to sleep.

This hotel is perfectly placed on the beach, close to restaurants and offers a stunning view. The staff was really friendly and accommodated all our needs. The room was spacious with a comfy bed and mosquito net, and had a balcony overlooking the ocean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of exciting food options.
