ibis exceeded my expectations once again during this visit to koh samui. the location was perfect, just a short walk to fisherman's village with its bustling restaurants and bars. the breakfast variety was great, and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Sunbed availability was an issue. not enough for everyone, and the '30 minute' policy of reserving them was not enforced.

The room was always clean and tidy, with fresh towels provided daily. The staff at reception went above and beyond to help us when my suitcase was left in another city. The bed was large and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The swimming pool area was absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning ocean view. We loved spending time there, as well as at the hotel's own beach. The hotel facilities were superb, including a fantastic outdoor bar and a body massage area. We also enjoyed the Saturday barbecue party they hosted. we had a great time here.

Not one thing.

This hotel is a great value for the rates they charge. The rooms are basic but in good condition, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The location is unbeatable - right on beautiful Bophut beach overlooking the open sea. The staff are always attentive, and the breakfast spread is impressive, with options for vegetarians included in the rate.

The beachfront location was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and a beautiful pool. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we loved having a balcony to enjoy the view. Plus, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety of options to choose from.

there were a lot of families with children using the pool, so it got quite crowded at times. It would have been nice to have a bit more space to relax and unwind.

This hotel had a brilliant last night on holiday. We had a room overlooking the sea, which was amazing. The location was also great, as it was close to Fisherman's Village and a fair distance from everything else we needed. The service from the staff was excellent, they were very attentive to our needs. The basic amenities in the room were good, and it was clean with a balcony overlooking the garden and pool area. Also, the breakfast was excellent, better than the normal Ibis breakfast you get elsewhere.

loved our stay at ibis samui bophut! staff was super helpful, always greeting us with smiles. breakfast had great variety and changed daily. the location was perfect, with a nice pool and beachfront access. can't wait to return in december!

poor room isolation

Had a fantastic stay over New Year's with plenty of complementary drinks and snacks provided, plus a great view of the ocean from the balcony. the location was perfect for exploring the area, with lots of shopping and dining options right nearby. And we loved being able to relax by the pool and take in the stunning views.

The service at the hotel wasn't always up to par, with some staff members being rude or unhelpful. We had some issues with the cleanliness of the room and some amenities not working properly.

As a solo traveler, I loved the hotel's play ground and pool, perfect for a holiday with the kids. The location near Fishermen's village was convenient for exploring the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the joint family room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good for a quick bite in the mornings. There were also on-site laundry facilities and the option for massages near the pools.
