The breakfast included was mediocre at best, so we ended up buying fruit from local street vendors instead. the room and its furnishings, particularly the bathroom, appeared dated and tired.

It was just a short taxi ride to Patong where we could enjoy the bustling nightlife, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in Kata. The view from our room was breathtaking, as we could see the ocean despite the rips being worse than anything I've seen in Australia. We also appreciated the facilities such as the kids club and the petanque patches.

The beach was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear waters and soft sand. It was the perfect spot for a romantic stroll or to relax and soak up the sun. the resort grounds were well-maintained and beautiful, providing a great atmosphere for a romantic escape.

One drawback was that our room initially wasn't the one we had booked and paid for, which was a disappointment. However, the issue was resolved the following day and we were given a more suitable room.
