We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff at Mai Samui Beach Resort & Spa who greeted us with cold refreshments upon arrival. The room we were upgraded to was spacious, modern, and clean, with a breathtaking ocean view. We loved the outdoor "tub" on the balcony, perfect for watching the sunset. The breakfast spread was a culinary feast with a wide variety of foods to suit every taste. The two pools, especially the one with a swim-up bar, provided a great place to relax and enjoy the resort. The zen spa and skilled therapists added to the overall experience. While the resort doesn't have a canteen or shop, a short 5-minute walk takes you to a kiosk that sells basic necessities. Renting a motorbike for exploration was convenient and affordable. The beautiful beach, though lacking waves, offered plenty of deck chairs for relaxation. Despite a few minor downsides, such as limited dining area and remote location, Mai Samui Beach Resort & Spa provided excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The view from our room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed the fact that there was a mini-mart down the road where we could buy snacks and drinks at lower prices.

Our room was located near a very noisy stairway and we were constantly disturbed by guests going up and down. Additionally, the beach was rocky and not great for swimming. It was also quite isolated, making it difficult to access other facilities. we were disappointed with our experience and would not recommend staying here.
