As low-budget travelers, we loved the fast wifi and the friendly staff. The breakfast selections were excellent, with options for Thai, vegetarian, and British sets. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the location was just a 10-15 minute walk from Khao San. The old-fashioned style and cool design of the hostel added to its charm. We also appreciated the communal areas with quirky decorations, complimentary biscuits and water, and the availability of games and books in the cafe area.

Plus, many attractions like the grand palace, wat pho, and wat Arun were within walking distance. the private room I stayed in was spacious, with a large bathroom and fantastic air conditioning. After a long day of walking in the scorching heat, returning to a cool and comfortable room was a relief. the area around the hostel was quieter, but still conveniently close to everything I wanted to see. the breakfast was delicious, offering four different options. Although the service was a bit slow, it wasn't a problem since I wasn't in a rush. I highly recommend Niras Bankoc for its beautiful design, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations.

The staff here are also very friendly and helpful, as one reviewer mentioned. They even let us use the showers in the evening before our long haul flight, which was a nice gesture.

The noise from the surrounding area, particularly the intersection outside, was very disruptive and made it difficult to sleep, even with windows shut and earplugs in. The walk to the nearest metro station felt long and inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage.
