I gotta say, the breakfast was pretty solid , and the jazz club downstairs felt like something out of a movie scene—great atmosphere. I even enjoyed some late-night snacks delivered to my room. the service was surprisingly quick and friendly amidst all the chaos.

But let’s be real, it wasn’t exactly budget-friendly for what you get—more of a middle-of-the-road place, honestly.

The guided walk around Chinatown led us to a stunning Chinese temple and authentic Thai coffee shop, creating a memorable cultural experience.

The hot water supply in the shower was inconsistent, making it challenging to enjoy a comfortable shower.

Shanghai Mansion was a real letdown. The manager was nowhere to be found at checkout, and I had to haul my own luggage—absurd, right? Not to mention, I was offered a measly hotel credit instead of a proper compensation for the transportation fiasco. The noise from live music was unbearable, almost drowned out any semblance of charm. Should have been exceptional but just couldn't recommend it.

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms is irritating!!! I was constantly disturbed by light seeping in under the door. The over-the-counter sink design is more aesthetic than functional, leading to messy splash issues!!!

The staff, especially Korn, are exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Location-wise, it’s in the middle of vibrant street life with plenty of food options nearby. A unique gem worth exploring!

my stay was enriched by the fantastic energy of the surrounding street market and the beautiful atmosphere of the bar with live music every night, which made it perfect to unwind after a day of exploring iconic landmarks like the Temple of the Golden Buddha, just a short walk away.

Had a lovely time here with my spacious and clean room right on the floor that was super quiet despite the busy Chinatown hustle. I really appreciated the body scrub at the spa and the live jazz performances, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. Only downside was the air conditioning, which was a bit noisy, but it didn’t ruin my experience—definitely try the breakfast! 😊
