Stunning beachfront and helpful staff.

The steep stairs everywhere were exhausting and not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. I also found it very frustrating that my checkout was disrupted by a loud knock at 8 AM, especially since my pickup wasn’t until 8:30. Additionally, the beach lacked enough sun beds for guests, which made it hard to find a spot to relax because outside visitors often took them.

A perfect place to relax and unwind.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an aggressive hotel manager who made interactions uncomfortable and stressful. I often felt hesitant to approach the reception for assistance, as a number of other guests shared similar tales of rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Additionally, the breakfast offered was lacking, with limited options and poor-quality coffee, leaving much to be desired for a morning meal on a tropical island.

Staying at Koh Tao Relax Freedom Beach Resort was a dream come true! The hillside bungalow offered stunning ocean views, and I adored the trek to the viewpoint with chirping birds. Enjoy delightful snorkeling just steps away from beautiful Freedom Beach, and don’t miss out on the delicious banana pancakes at breakfast.

Be prepared for a workout with all the steep steps to navigate around the resort. If you're craving vibrant nightlife or a bustling town vibe, this place might feel too isolated. The restaurant had its moments, but we were hoping for a bit more variety in options.

The spacious teak bungalow provided unbelievable views from the balcony, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of waves at high tide.

The restaurant options were disappointing as the food didn't meet our expectations considering the relatively isolated location.

The location is perfect. secluded yet close to swimming spots and great snorkeling. The staff was super friendly and helpful. got a free upgrade to a beach view villa which was awesome!.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Stunning views from our room and friendly staff made our stay special. Breakfast was delicious, with varied options daily. The beachfront bar was lovely, and the natural surroundings were a true gem.

The steep stairs throughout the resort can be a challenge, and more beach beds would enhance the experience.

The beachfront villa was decent , bugs stayed outside which was a relief. Quiet nights were nice, with only the crickets chirping , giving it a bit of charm.

It was pricey for what you get , felt it could be better compared to other spots.
