Shabu-shabu dreams and friendly staff caught my heart. Plus, the excellent quality-price ratio and location for motorbike adventures were a cherry on top. For cons, a quiet-seeking soul might find the noise a tad spicy, but with a different room view, it could all be smooth sailing. Let's dish up over coffee sometime, mate!

the Palms Residence - Sha Extra Plus was situated perfectly for exploring nearby restaurants and attractions. I had the option to park my rented car or motorbike at the hotel, which was a great convenience. the highlight of the hotel was the rooftop pool, although initially the water had a greenish-yellow tint, the staff quickly resolved the issue upon notification. it is important to note that the pool lacked ongoing filtration, so it was advised to use the nearby toilet facilities. Despite this, the hotel had a spacious roofterrace for tanning or relaxing with some music. the rooms were clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a fridge, TV, and working shower. it was a pleasant and affordable stay.

Value for money was great, with clean rooms and strong WiFi. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to help us, from ordering food for us to providing a charger. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus.

Breakfast items could be improved with more variety and options.

the room was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. strategic location for exploring the island with food courts and supermarkets nearby. exceeded my expectations, got more than I paid for.
