The hotel had a great location, within easy walking distance to major tourist attractions and restaurants. the staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. the hotel also offered a complimentary tea and coffee station in the foyer and a delicious breakfast with plenty of options.

There were a few small issues with cleanliness in our room, but the staff were quick to respond and rectify the situation. the room was facing a busy road which caused some noise at times.

The charming Villa Lantara was a perfect choice for my stay in Chiang Mai. The hotel's beautiful ambience transported me to a French 50's Indo-China style villa. Conveniently located within the ancient city, I had easy access to the major temples and a wide variety of restaurants. The central market was also just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel truly welcome. My room, with a balcony overlooking the private gardens, provided a peaceful retreat. The fixed-price airport transportation was a convenient perk. I had a delightful experience at Villa Lantara and would gladly stay there again.

One minor drawback was the wet area behind the sink, where black mold was starting to grow. Additionally, the hotel is situated on a busy and noisy street, but the soundproof windows effectively minimized the disturbance.
