Golden Sand Hotel in Istanbul exceeded our expectations with its great location, friendly staff , outstanding service, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, fast wifi. The value for money is outstanding, comparable to 4 or 5-star hotels in town. We will definitely be coming back.

The hotel location is very convenient, just a short walk from the main road and a few tram stops away from the Blue Mosque. The staff, particularly Radvan and Tajfun, were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable. Radvan even went out of his way to change our room to a bigger one and arranged a daily tour for us. We felt grateful to Radvan for his assistance when my wife had health issues, as he stayed with us until early morning in the hospital. The hotel also offers free tea, coffee, and water all day and night. it was a great experience and highly recommended.

There are plenty of restaurants around, offering a wide variety of dining options. The hotel is also close to the main attractions of the city, making it easy to explore and immerse yourself in the local culture. Additionally, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to start your day off right.

One negative aspect is that the smoking policy allows guests to smoke, which can be a nuisance for non-smokers.

It's also within walking distance of popular tourist spots like the Grand Bazar, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, and Blue Mosque. the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, going out of their way to accommodate our needs. They helped us book excursions, organize airport transfers, and gave great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. the value for money was excellent, and the traditional Turkish breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the stunning views from the terrace, which provided a 360-degree view of the city.

The service was great! the staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to assist. They even offered complimentary snacks and drinks upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. Location-wise, it was perfect for my business trip. Close to the main transportation hub and only a short walk to the city center. the hotel also had a great rooftop terrace that offered stunning views of the city and was a perfect place to relax after a long day of meetings.

The room was a bit basic and cramped for my taste, with not enough power points and no chairs inside. the neighborhood was quite noisy at night, which made it difficult to fall asleep.
