The hotel is conveniently located near public bus stops that easily reach the city center. It is also close to a metro station, making it easy to explore the city. Guests who prefer taxis can easily find them in the area and take a short ride to nicer areas. Additionally, the hotel is in the center, near the railway station, making it convenient for those arriving by train.

The only negative aspect mentioned by guests is that the AC in the restaurant was turned off, making it uncomfortably hot.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a small alley in a good area, right in the center. Its location is superb, being just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fresh white bedding and a comfy bed. I stayed in a room with five single beds, all of which were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The basic amenities provided were more than sufficient, and the breakfast included a variety of options, including hot food.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel had comfortable beds and clean linen. the breakfast spread was decent, offering a variety of dishes. the location was perfect for exploring the city being in close proximity to the main tourist sites.

Rooms were tiny and felt cramped. the bathroom was minimalistic with no toiletries other than soap.

Lovely garden seating area, delicious drinks, and a buffet breakfast worth waking up for. Conveniently located near transportation. Free parking and WiFi? Yes, please!

Oh, the joy of frequent internet disconnections, temperamental hairdryers, and coffee spills. Old part of town, but who needs history when you can walk to the modern parts in 5 minutes?

I recently stayed at Hotel Baylan Basmane for one night during my visit to Izmir. The room was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities I needed, including a mini-fridge and a tea and coffee maker. The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to Basmane Gar, as well as numerous restaurants, a supermarket, and the bus station. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, with Kazam even providing us with his Izmir transportation card for our visit to the zoo. I will definitely be returning to this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. It truly offers great value for money.
