shangri-la is overrated. the additional service fee they tried to sneak in at checkout is ridiculous, especially since the check-in staff said everything was covered. also, the bar service was a joke, inconvenienced me twice. with all the complaints, i woudl ve expected a room upgrade or at least an apology, but no, just standard treatment!

staying at shangri-la was wonderful! our premier room had a stunning view of the bosphorus, and the breakfast spread was top-notch. the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. also, the spa was a real treat with its customized massages and organic products.

i would have loved more dining options at the restaurant.

The staff made our mornings fantastic, especially Yunis and Qazim, who remembered our kids' favorite drinks without us saying a word! ! The food at breakfast was out of this world, and my kid couldn't get enough of the restaurant!

the location was fantastic with easy access to a ferry and bus station. although the room was supposed to have a great view, we were disappointed. however, the breakfast was top-notch and the staff were friendly. enjoyed the spa amenities a lot.

A commendable fit for getting around the area in Istanbul with definitely value for money. The indoor garden atria were a beautiful, peaceful spot to unwind after a busy day exploring. Make sure to check out the nearby Naval Museum for an interesting trip.

I experienced great hospitality during my stay. The staff made me feel at home. One moment that stood out was when the chief concierge arranged a last-minute reservation at a top dining spot. The range of selections during breakfast was noteworthy, especially the variety of teas. I even enjoyed some pastries while watching the performance of the Kung-Fu Tea Master. My partner and I appreciated the spacious suite with its large balconies, providing perfect outdoor dining spaces.

this hotel has an amazin location right by the bosphorus, the views are just wow! rooms are big and comfy, and the staff are super helpful, like they really go outta their way for you. the breakfast spread was really good, with plenty of choices, and i loved their peking duck! also, the spa was great, had a super nice massage that really relaxed me.

only issue was i had to wait too long for my bags during check-out, and the bar service could def use some improvement.
