our recent anniversary stay in gosforth was amazing! 1692 wasdale exceeded all our expectations. the staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was of excellent quality. it was a perfect and relaxing getaway.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at 1692 Wasdale. The rooms were absolutely stunning, with luxurious touches like a super king size bed and a free standing bath. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel accommodates dogs and even provides all the necessary amenities for them. I highly recommend this boutique B&B for a perfect getaway.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with easy access to a takeaway shop for convenience. We also enjoyed the proximity to the coast where we could make out the Isle of Man and the beautiful lakes. The Fells Suite room had amazing views over the fields and was well-appointed with top quality linen and towels. The bathroom was truly luxurious with a large bath, walk-in shower, and even an electrically operated roof light.

The breakfast options were somewhat limited, with only a few choices available.

The highlight was the delicious home-cooked breakfast that can rival Rick Stein's. The attention to detail in the room design and finishing touches was impressive. The peaceful and beautiful location was perfect for a tranquil getaway. We only wished we could have stayed longer to explore the area more.

The "Stone" room we stayed in was modern and stylish, with a lovely patio area where we could relax in the sun. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the breakfast spread was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We were also impressed by the attention to detail throughout our stay, from the quality of the bed linens to the choice of toiletries. We can't wait to come back!
