I recently stayed at Abbey House B&B for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, right in the center of town, and within easy walking distance of everything. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impressive, and the host was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the en-suite facilities were great, and the breakfast was superb. Parking at the rear of the property was also a big plus.

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The location was perfect for me as it was easy to access and within walking distance of the town centre and the place I was working. I managed to park without any struggle in the small car park at the rear of the property. The service provided was excellent - the staff were very helpful and very nice. They went out of their way to ensure everything was to my taste. The room amenities were also great, with tea and coffee facilities, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi available. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

The only downside I can think of is that the breakfast options were a bit limited. It would have been nice if they offered more selection.

Lovely Stay

We stayed at this place for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for meeting our family in Penrith and exploring the northern parts of the Lake District. It was incredibly convenient to walk to the town center and there were plenty of restaurants and bars just a 2-minute walk away. The service was exceptional, with the staff being so friendly and accommodating. The room amenities were great with tea and coffee facilities, free Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV.

The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, although we didn't get to try it due to the cook being unwell, the staff kindly refunded us some money. Despite this, we heard from other guests that the breakfast had received great reviews.

Spotless room with a clean and well-supplied en-suite toilet and shower. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Well worth the money.

We appreciated the thoughtful extras in our room and ensuite, such as tissues by the bed and cotton wool balls in the bathroom. the breakfast had a wide variety of options, from a full Cumberland to a tasty bacon sandwich. Being close to the town center and major road junctions was convenient for exploring. a great experience at Abbey House B&B.

I had a fantastic time staying in this B&B. The location is perfect, very close to the centre of town with lots of places to get a feed. The room was spacious and clean, with a large en-suite and all the necessary amenities. The service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages. a great experience.

The hosts were friendly and incredibly helpful with advice on local activities. the breakfast was excellent with a good assortment of cereals and fruit, as well as tasty coffee. the room was comfortable and clean, with a warm atmosphere.

The bathroom extraction fan did not work, which is not uncommon in B&Bs. the view from the room was not great, but this was not a major issue as we were out exploring most of the day.
