The room was clean and well-kept, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot. The hotel had a convenient location, just a 2-minute walk from a train station, which made it easy to access central London. the staff was helpful and friendly, providing great service during my stay.

The decor of the room could have been brighter and more visually appealing. It felt a bit drab.

The Aberdeen Guest House in Ilford was excellent for a budget hotel. Cleanliness and organization were top-notch, with a lovely garden at the back. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located near Ilford station.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a fantastic stay at this gem of a place. The owners provided great service, and the room was warm, tidy, and had a comfortable bed. The added touch of a fridge and complimentary breakfast items like biscuits, cereal, milk, and juice was much appreciated. The option to upgrade to a bigger bed or ensuite for free was a nice surprise. The location was convenient and close to the train station, yet surprisingly quiet. it was excellent value for money and I highly recommend it.

Lovely place, conveniently close to the train station. Very friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. Bed was comfy, perfect for a quiet night's sleep after a busy day. It was a bit chilly, but I'm sure that was just my incompetence with the heater:)

Lovely & welcoming

I arrived a few hours before check-in time and was greeted by the very cheerful owner. They were kind enough to provide me with the room key and allowed me to park my car for the day, which meant I could start exploring London city centre right away. The room was a delightful surprise - clean, fresh-smelling, with freshly laundered bedding. I was impressed to find tea, coffee, and milk provided, along with a jar of Nescafé and 2 pints of milk in the fridge, perfect for us coffee fiends. The bathrooms, although in need of modernizing, were clean and tidy, and having two next to each other meant no waiting even in a full guest house. As a smoker, I appreciated the garden area provided by the owner, complete with benches and ashtrays away from the main house. The Aberdeen Guest House is conveniently located just a few minutes away from Ilford train station, with frequent trains to Victoria street. I highly recommend this B&B to all types of travelers due to its perfect location and the exceeding of my expectations in terms of price and amenities.
