Positive aspects of my stay: Proximity to motorway, clean rooms, large comfortable rooms, really good shower, helpful staff , early check-in.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is ideal, with a beautiful loch right opposite and a theme park next door for the kids. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. We also enjoyed a tasty and reasonably priced evening meal at the restaurant. The hotel is conveniently close to the train station, making it easy to explore the area.

There was some noise from a function in a marquee that disturbed our sleep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful little hotel in a wooded park area with a beautiful lake. The location was perfect for nature lovers like me, as it was very close to the park. The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful, with a huge, comfortable king size bed and classy decor. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, and they made me feel special from the moment I checked in. The breakfast served was delicious and had plenty of options to choose from. All in all, everything about this hotel was fantastic.

I did notice that there was a good deal of noise coming from outside, which disturbed my sleep.

The wifi can be slow and at times non-existent in the mornings.

I recently stayed at Alona for a weekend getaway. The friendly and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable, and the delicious food was a highlight. Despite a minor issue with the TV remote, the receptionist quickly found a working replacement. The rooms were lovely, with convenient charging points and well-placed mirrors. The restaurant provided a relaxed dining experience with live jazz music, and the staff were accommodating. Alona offers great value for money.

The location was convenient for exploring the area and checking out some local attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the complimentary wine and little touches like the toiletries and hot chocolate in our room.

We found the haddock and Scottish breakfast to be below par and not up to our expectations. some parts of the hotel looked a bit worn and outdated, which made it feel less comfortable overall.

I had a fantastic time at Alona for my birthday lunch. The staff were professional and informative, and the location overlooking the Loch was breathtaking. The Butterflied Chicken dish was bursting with delicious flavors, and the White Chocolate Cheesecake was a sweet ending to a perfect meal. The service and quality of food were top-notch. I highly recommend Alona for any dining or hotel needs.

I had a truly amazing stay at this place. The location in a country park, surrounded by a wooded park and a picturesque lake, was simply stunning. The easy motorway access was a big plus as well. The service provided by the staff, especially those on the reception desk, was top-notch. They were friendly, approachable, and gave excellent service. The room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities such as heating and air conditioning. I particularly loved the sitting area and the terrace, where I could relax and enjoy the beautiful garden view. The dining restaurant was wonderful, with delicious food and a variety of options to choose from. I had a fantastic experience thanks to the wonderful staff and the luxurious comfort provided by this hotel.

This place is perfect for families, with its family-friendly environment and a range of activities like mini golf, bowling, and cycling.

The location was perfect, right by the lake and with fast electric chargers nearby. Despite being during the New Year bank holidays, the minimum staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The receptionist, Gary, gave us a warm welcome and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff's attention to detail was impressive - they even called me about some items I had left behind before I had even realized they were missing. the experience was exceptional.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is located in a beautiful wooded park area with a lake nearby. It's a perfect location for families, as there are plenty of activities and attractions within walking distance. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a sitting area and terrace. The staff, from the friendly reception desk to the attentive restaurant staff, made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We especially appreciated the 24-hour room service and the delicious meals available at the restaurant. The hotel also had a lovely sun terrace and garden area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

The only downside we experienced was that some of the management staff seemed a bit unapproachable. However, this did not detract from our overall positive experience.
