fantastic central base to explore bath’s treasures and parks

staying at this hotel made it so easy to stroll through the charming streets of Bath, with iconic spots like Bath Abbey just a short 10-minute walk away, and I loved that the beautiful Parade Gardens were right around the corner, perfect for a leisurely afternoon walk after exploring the city.

The lack of onsite parking is a major hassle!!! Noise from the pool area can disturb your peace!!! Long wait times during check-in left much to be desired!!! Unpleasant bathroom odors were not pleasant!!! Dirty changing rooms in the spa area could use serious attention!!!

Friendly staff, excellent location, with convenient amenities like a fitness center and indoor pool made our stay enjoyable, and having Bristol airport nearby was an added benefit for travel.

For us it was ideal.

the pool was so small and crowded, you woudl think they’d have some sort of priority bookings for guests. Plus, the leather sofa in our room was peeling, how unclassy. I had to beg for a room upgrade, which I thought was a standard courtesy for such a 'prestigious' hotel.

The complimentary drink voucher during our check-in delay helped ease the frustration, and I appreciated the staff's detailed recommendations for local dining options, which enhanced our exploration of Bath's culinary scene.

we had a fantastic night at apex! the heated indoor pool was perfect after a day out, and the location felt so relaxing with its amenities. we really appreciated the attentive staff, who made us feel welcome from start to finish. the rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with a separate walk-in shower.
