Stunning view from balcony. Friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent power shower. Huge and tasty breakfasts.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location overlooking the Castle and Loch was amazing, and the view from the balcony was stunning. Despite not seeing the sun to witness the lovely sunsets, the pictures on the wall throughout the property captured their beauty.

The friendly welcome, amazing views, beautifully appointed room, top-quality breakfasts, complementary toiletries, stunning balcony view.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the area, with a beautiful balcony area overlooking the castle and the lush yard. The stunning sea views from the room provide a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The host, Mike, looked after us very well, providing lots of helpful suggestions about places to visit and local restaurants to try. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious and filling, ensuring we started our day off right.

That there were no curtains on the dormer window, which meant that we were woken early by the light.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the bay and Castle Stalker from our room and the breakfast balcony. The hotel is nestled on an island with a purpose-built cycle path to a pathway just beside the lock, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings at our own pace. The staff, led by owner Mike, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. They even booked a table for us at a local restaurant, ensuring we had a wonderful dining experience. The service was top-notch, with housekeeping ensuring our room was immaculate and well-stocked with amenities such as ironing facilities and tea and coffee-making facilities. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace, taking in the views and enjoying the garden furniture provided. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi in rooms, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. We can't wait to visit again!

During my recent stay at Appin, I was treated to the most breathtaking view towards Castle Stalker from my well-sized and accessorised room. The cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch. Mike, the owner, was a delightful and entertaining host, while Lorraine provided excellent local advice. The breakfast provided each morning was fabulous and left no one hungry. I am definitely planning to return to this amazing hotel.
