We booked this for a surprise weekend away for my parents and they really enjoyed it. Beautiful rooms, fresh and clean, friendly and polite staff. Central location, lovely owners, fantastic breakfast. Bonus: got to meet the owner's dog! Clean and welcoming with spacious rooms. Paula and her husband were lovely, giving great local recommendations.

I had a fantastic time staying at Ashdale in Matlock Bath. The location was perfect, right on the 'promenade' and close to all the local amenities. The owners, Paula and Shaun, were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room I stayed in, the Castleton, was cozy and spacious, with all the necessary comforts. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, cooked to order with local produce. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this guest house to others.

We had a brilliant stay at the guesthouse. Paula and her family were amazing hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a lovely big bathroom. They even catered to our dietary needs, providing a delicious "Slimming World friendly" breakfast each morning. the location was perfect, with a range of restaurants and facilities within walking distance. We also enjoyed the easy access to local attractions like the Railway Station and Heights of Abraham. it was a lovely experience and we highly recommend Ashdale Guesthouse.

We recently stayed at a charming guesthouse in the heart of a bustling city. the location was ideal, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. the breakfast was simply delicious, with good quality ingredients that left us feeling satisfied all morning. we loved that we could bring our furry friend and that there was a patio where we could relax with him.

That the bathroom could have been warmer and the shower was not the most powerful. However, the homely atmosphere, comfy bed, and helpful owners more than made up for it.
