During my stay at the bed and breakfast in Croscombe, I was impressed by the beautifully renovated house and the welcoming owner. The personal service provided was exceptional, and I especially appreciated the owner's wealth of local area information. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the family room with a separate bedroom for the children was perfect. The little courtyard outside was a nice touch as well. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, like the limited dining options in the village, overall I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The hotel's cleanliness and facilities were outstanding. The location in the Wells area was perfect for visiting the many 'must-see' places in the Mendips. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had a lovely Christmas stay at this charming country hotel. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We also loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the place, which made us feel right at home.

The parking was limited, but we didn't have much trouble finding a spot on the road outside in the evenings. It would have been nice to have a disposable shower cap provided as an extra amenity.

I recently had a fantastic stay at The Cross At Croscombe in Wells. My family and I stayed for a couple of nights and were greeted warmly by Teri. The family room upstairs was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a separate bedroom for our teenage daughter. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, cereals, pastries, and a full cooked breakfast. The building itself has plenty of character and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Bath, Glastonbury, and Cheddar Gorge. a wonderful experience.

From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with tea and scones and provided us with valuable information about the area. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and comfortable, with top-quality bedding and towels. The deluxe ensuite bathroom was a treat, featuring a walk-in shower and a luxurious rolltop bath. The breakfasts were delicious, with a varied choice of food and even options for gluten-free diets. This place truly exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to stay here again when we're in the area.

Everything at this hotel was just perfect. the location, the welcome, the comfort, and the facilities were spot on. the owners were very hospitable and served the best breakfast, that was so tasty and freshly cooked. Loved the cozy and beautifully decorated rooms, which were equipped with quality bedding and had a wonderful atmosphere. the Christmas decorations added a beautiful touch to the hotel, making our stay even more special.

There wasn't anything we could find to dislike. Perhaps it was just a bit awkward to have a hand-held shower over the bath, but the owner made sure we knew about this before we arrived.

The Cross At Croscombe was a hidden gem, with stylishly designed rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was fabulous, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The little lounge for guests and the honesty bar were both great additions. It really felt like a home away from home. The teenagers in our group loved the huge croissants and Nutella. Nearby, The George pub offered good food and a friendly welcome.

We felt well taken care of and had no complaints whatsoever.
