The room was really spacious and had a nice cozy feel to it. We had plenty of hot water in the bathroom which was great. , the staff were super friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The bed in our room was incredibly hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the toilet cistern in our bathroom dripped loudly, which was quite annoying.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in an excellent location near the harbour front. The hotel offered great value for money with its affordable prices. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a touch of character with their four poster beds. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the plentiful supplies of tea and coffee to the excellent shower facilities. Additionally, the staff provided a friendly and helpful service, adding to the overall positive experience.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Whitby and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and impressive room I booked. With five windows offering stunning views, it was a delightful experience. The ensuite bathroom was purpose-built and not cramped like some other places I've stayed in. The hotel itself was warm and cozy, and the staff at the quiet bar provided excellent service at reasonable prices. The highlight for me was the beautifully presented, top-quality "full English" breakfast that surpassed all expectations. The hotel's location is also ideal, within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, and public transportation. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly service and wonderful amenities.

While my stay at the hotel was exceptional, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the hotel doesn't have an onsite restaurant, which was a bit disappointing considering it was advertised on their billheads and paperwork.

our honeymoon stay at bagdale hall & annexe in whitby was absolutely amazing! the traditional building with modern facilities exceeded our expectations. the spacious room, comfortable bed, and friendly hosts made our 5-night stay perfect. the central location and own parking were incredibly convenient, and there were plenty of eateries nearby. we will definitely be coming back!

The bar lacked atmosphere and was almost empty during our visit. The television in the room was too small and had a blurred picture, making it difficult to watch from any seating position other than directly in front of it.

bagdale hall & annexe in whitby exceeded my expectations during this relaxing holiday. the location is perfect, close to town, and the rooms are unique and historic. breakfast was incredible and staff were welcoming throughout our stay. a lovely experience overall.

Great central location, just a short walk away from the train and bus stations. The breakfast was served promptly and was hot and fresh. The bathroom was modern and had a great shower that was perfect for the morning.

The room was a bit of a letdown, with a small bed and very limited storage space. There were no hangers in the wardrobe which made it difficult to hang up our coats.

Excellent location, 2 min walk to town with good parking. Breakfast very good, staff polite and helpful. Clean, spacious room with large en-suite. Some floorboard squeaking. Pricey, but worth it for character, location and parking. Would recommend.

The breakfast served in the main building was delicious, and we were within walking distance of all the attractions in the town center. Plus, there were plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room.
