The hotel's location right in the centre of town was perfect for me as a backpacker. It was so close to the town centre that I could easily explore all the shops, cafes, and attractions. Despite being in such a central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The room I stayed in had a quirky and warm atmosphere, making it feel comfortable and inviting. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities. The service from the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

There were some low ceilings in certain areas of the hotel, which may pose a challenge for taller guests.

bagshaw hall in bakewell exceeded our expectations during our romantic weekend getaway. the room was lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. the location was ideal, just a short walk into the heart of bakewell. we were able to check in early, which was very convenient.

The location on top of a hill provided breathtaking views over the town and created a serene and luxurious atmosphere. The service and housekeeping were exceptional, ensuring that my room was always clean and well-maintained. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities and a comfortable sitting area. The terrace and garden furniture allowed me to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while sipping a cup of tea. The free Wi-Fi in rooms was a great bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. the level of comfort and quality service provided at this hotel was truly exceptional.

We had a fantastic Christmas getaway! the view from our room was breathtaking, it really added to the magical atmosphere. the accommodation was spacious and comfortable, allowing us to truly relax and unwind.

the lack of wifi in the room was inconvenient as we had to go to the lounge area to connect. It would have been nice to have the option of breakfast included.

The rooms were spacious and well-decorated, with beautiful panel walls and fireplaces that added a cozy and charming touch. the location was also excellent, with an easy and pleasant walk to the town center. the staff, especially Linda, were very friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

the breakfast was cold and undercooked, leaving a lot to be desired. the room we were allocated was not suitable for a young family, with missing bars from the balustrade making it unsafe for our two-year-old.

This place is fantastic! The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the town center, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The staff provided an instant check-in with a warm welcome and were attentive throughout our stay.

That there was an additional charge for bringing a dog, which we felt was a bit expensive and not mentioned on the website. However, our furry friend was still made to feel welcome.

The hotel has a rich history to explore and the rooms had lovely views. the breakfast was appetizing and can be enjoyed in your own room or in their dining room. the hotel’s proximity to the town center is very convenient, making it a great location.

The maintenance left a bit to be desired. the garden and exterior lighting were spotty and there could be more in place.

We had a peaceful stay at Bagshaw Hall and enjoyed the stunning room and comfortable bed. The small kitchen was a nice touch. Despite the early checkout time, we found the room to be beautiful and cozy.

Despite these drawbacks, we had an enjoyable stay overall. The cooked breakfast, although not perfect, was decent.
