Large, quiet room with a super comfortable bed and a spacious bath and shower. Decent toiletries provided. The breakfast in the sunny Orangery was mind-blowing, with a great variety of food options. The surroundings of the hotel were stunning, with ample parking, beautiful grounds for woodland walks, and even a golf course. We managed to get a fantastic last-minute deal, making it a great value for money.

The room we stayed in was spacious and had a nice view. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel had a beautiful interior with a historic charm.

The presence of a generator near our room made for a noisy night. there were issues with a power outage that should have been addressed.

We had an amazing stay at Balbirnie House. The grounds were breathtaking and perfect for our dog to roam around. The staff were young, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. The food, although not exceptional, was of good quality and well-cooked. The public rooms were comfortable and offered plenty of seating options. The wedding reception we attended was truly the best day of our lives, thanks to the exceptional service and attention to detail by the Balbirnie team. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings and weekend getaways.

The hotel is located in a charming village, with the bar in the library and the Bistro downstairs offering excellent dining options. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a separate seating area. The service is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is delicious.
