Our stay at the castle was worth every penny. The room was exceptional, with a comfortable bed and a fascinating secret passage. The location offered breathtaking views, and the staff, especially Henry, were welcoming and hospitable.

Despite a few minor issues, such as a radiator not working properly and some light bulbs needing replacement, our overall experience was exceptional. I spent my Xmas break in a castle that was impressive looking, with the best grounds I have ever seen in my life. It had only a few rooms which added up to the intimate atmosphere that I was looking for, plus all of them had a big tub that was more than perfect for bubble baths. Although the service was limited, breakfast was at a quality level above my expectations.

This hotel offers a luxurious and unique experience. the rooms are beautifully decorated with modern amenities, including a well-stocked mini bar, and the bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. the stunning location by the loch offers outstanding views and is ideal for those seeking peace and tranquillity. the meals, especially the breakfast, are delicious and freshly made.

While the remote location can be a positive aspect, it does mean that guests are required to drive or take a taxi to reach the nearby town, which may not suit everyone's tastes. This hotel does not have a bar, so guests will have to bring their own alcohol, which can be a minor inconvenience for some.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Barcaldine Castle Bed & Breakfast. The castle's rich history was evident in its furniture and decor, creating a charming ambiance. We particularly enjoyed spending evenings by the fireplace with a glass of wine. Our room, the Barcaldine Room, was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The secret passage way in the room added to the intrigue and sparked interesting conversations with other guests. The castle caretaker, Henry, was welcoming and hospitable, making us feel right at home. it was a delightful experience that we'll never forget.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Barcaldine Castle for a few nights. The castle itself is breathtaking, with stunning hand carved four poster beds, original artwork, and beautiful antique furniture. The breakfast served in the great hall was delicious, and Henry, the new owner, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location is like something out of a fairytale, with picturesque views of lush green fields, quaint cottages, and a sweeping body of water. The room I stayed in, the Breadalbane room, was incredibly comfortable with a luxurious bathroom and an amazing overhead rain shower. The common room with its grand fireplace was also a lovely place to relax. Veronica and Barry, the hosts, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding. I can't wait to see what they have planned for the future, including a bar and high tea offerings. Staying in a castle was truly a dream come true!
