Review of Basecamp Wales: I recently stayed at Basecamp Wales for a hiking trip and had an amazing time. The location was perfect and the staff, Tom and Tim, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were equipped with comfortable beds and towels, and the showers had plenty of hot water. The kitchen had all the utensils and crockery we needed, along with ample storage space. The communal areas were clean and provided a variety of activities for relaxation. an excellent place to stay, highly recommended!

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable, with spacious beds and all the necessary amenities. The location was superb, offering beautiful views and easy access to nearby towns. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

basecamp wales in llanllyfni surpassed expectations again on our family holiday! the rooms were clean and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms and a good-sized triple room for the kids. the kitchen and common areas were excellent, well-equipped, and spacious. the owners were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. great location for snowdon activities and coastal exploration!

Radiator control in en-suite needed improvement.

basecamp wales was even better than my last stay in llanllyfni! the beds were super comfy, the room was spacious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. the communal area was clean and welcoming, and the view of mount snowdon from our room was breathtaking. can't wait to come back!

the hosts, Alison and her sons Tom and Tim, were incredibly friendly and made the place warm and cosy. the beds were comfortable and I had a peaceful night's sleep. the surroundings were quiet and the views of the Nantlle Valley towards Snowdon were fabulous. There were even picnic tables and llamas in the garden, adding to the charm of the place.

basecamp is a true gem! the warm welcome and helpful information from tim and tom exceeded all expectations. top-notch facilities, constant hot water, spotlessly clean, and great value for money. the beautiful location, balcony with star-gazing, giant bunnies, and llamas added to the amazing experience. the family who run it are so welcoming and provide great local suggestions. can't wait to visit again!

Recently stayed at Basecamp Wales for a short hiking break. Welcoming hosts, spacious rooms, and great facilities for post-hike relaxation. Loved the hot showers and the alpacas on site. Clean and tidy throughout, with well-equipped kitchen and lounge areas. Easy to find, with ample parking. Helpful staff who provided a tour and assisted with our trip planning. Comfy beds and free, fast Wi-Fi.
