The rooms have been refurbished to a very good standard, with a wonderful comfy bed and great modern shower room. The staff is wonderfully friendly and there is a real nice atmosphere about the place. The breakfast is great with plenty of options. Highly recommend.

The staff at this pub with rooms were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made our stay very enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble for them. the food served here was also impressive, with a good variety available at reasonable prices. Plus, the location of the pub was excellent, just a short 15-minute walk to the city center or a quick bus ride, as there was a bus stop conveniently located outside.

One drawback we experienced was the noise in the rooms. We were given a room above the bar area and despite being told that the door would be closed after 10 pm, there was still a lot of noise.

I had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel in Chester. The value for money was exceptional and the room was comfortable, with a good selection of amenities. The location was perfect, close to the city center and public transport. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in Chester. The staff welcomed me warmly and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. My room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Despite a few minor issues like a small shower and an empty bottle under the bed, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at this value-for-money hotel. I definitely plan on returning for another visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Chester.

Couldn’t fault

We had a great time staying in this hotel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center. It was so convenient to have parking available, and being on a bus route made it easy to visit places like Chester Zoo. The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely bathroom. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We even enjoyed dining in the restaurant. we had a fantastic experience.

The noise from the bar downstairs was a bit of a nuisance at times.
