I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious guest house. The location was absolutely perfect, right on the seafront, allowing easy access to all the attractions this place has to offer. The service and housekeeping were exceptional, with the hosts going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The sitting area was cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxation after a long day. The continental breakfast provided was delicious and there were even special diet menus available. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest. The beach access was a lovely bonus, and the on-site car park made it convenient for me to bring my own vehicle.

We had a most lovely stay at the Bay Lodge Guest House. Everything was just perfect, and we rarely give such a rating. We had a room facing the sea, and the view was incredible. Everything was sparkling clean and perfectly working. Hayley and Jon are amazing hosts. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed with the best oreo cupcakes I've ever had. There is a teapot with a variety of tea, instant coffee, cookies, and candies in the room. The breakfast was ample and delicious, couldn't wish for more. We were in the town for just one night but absolutely wanted to stay at this place longer. Sending our love to Hayley and Jon and wishing the nicest guests for them! :)

We loved the warm welcome from the hosts and their friendliness throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view from the window. The amount of drawers and cupboards provided was impressive. The comfortable bed and spotlessly clean surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast had a good variety, and we especially loved the fresh fruit salad and the delicious scrambled egg topped with smoked salmon. The staff was really friendly and personal. They even upgraded our room and provided us with some home made lemon cake! the room was clean and beautiful and it was near to the city center. the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty. Personal touch made it a wonderful stay!

That the bathroom only had a bathtub and no shower. This made it a bit difficult for my elderly husband to get in and out of the tub.

We had an incredible stay at a budget-friendly B&B that exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, right on the seafront, with a stunning view of the beach. The room was spotless and comfortable, with lovely decorations and a balcony. The hosts, Hayley and Jon, were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel valued. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked to order, and the little extra touches like cake on arrival and chocolates in the room were delightful.

The parking situation could be a bit inconvenient, with a 100-meter walk from the off-road parking at the rear of the property and the possibility of having to find street parking if the car park is full.

I also appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, like the homemade lemon drizzle cake and chocolates. it was a great experience and I can't wait to come back to Bay Lodge.
