Great value for money with a comfortable room and beautiful views of the water and Dartmouth Castle. The staff at Bayards Cove Inn were friendly, sociable, and made us feel truly welcome. The location was perfect, just a short walk to explore the town and conveniently close to the ferry and roads for day trips.

The breakfast could have been improved with better water flow in the shower, and the TV and DVD player had sound but no picture. However, the noise from the lounge and kitchen was understandable given the room's location above and next to them.

I recently stayed at Bayards Cove Inn for a weekend getaway and it was fantastic. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere in the hotel was vibrant and fun. The room was comfortable, with blackout blinds that ensured a good night's sleep. I was pleasantly surprised to find homemade mince pies and fresh coffee in my room upon arrival. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I can't wait to return next year.

We had an amazing stay at Bayards Cove Inn. The Drake room was quirky and cosy, with all the necessary amenities. The Valentine's Day surprise of prosecco, chocolates, and rose petals was a lovely touch. The restaurant served delicious meals with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast, made with local produce, was outstanding. a fantastic experience!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just off the river front and in the center of town. You'll be close to everything Dartmouth has to offer, including the ferry crossing and the sea front. The rooms are comfortable and characterful, with quirky touches like the names of British Admirals and their biographies. The staff are welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast selection is top-notch.

The only drawback is the lack of car parking, but finding a space nearby shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

We had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully adapted attic suite at Bayards Cove Inn. The period room was tastefully decorated with a modern twist, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. We were impressed by the attention to detail, from the minimal use of plastic to the thoughtful touches like a fridge in the room and a tea pot and cafetière. The breakfasts were delicious and the relaxed timing made our stay stress-free. The staff were absolutely superb, friendly, efficient, and motivated, ensuring that our stay was brilliant. we highly recommend this characterful hotel.

While our room was lovely, we did experience some noise as it was located next to the kitchen. Additionally, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but we were fortunate to find a free space and didn't need to use our car again for three days.

Our Christmas stay was amazing! the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the town. the rooms were very clean, warm and welcoming. We loved the beautiful decor of the room and the building. the breakfast was to die for, with many vegetarian options available. the staff were very friendly and professional, and provided us with excellent service. the bar was great with lovely wine choices and great local ale on tap.

We were able to find a parking spot nearby. there were some minor issues with the bathroom as there was a leak in the shower which meant that we had to wait for grouting to dry.
