had a brilliant stay, lovely hosts, great breakfast, and beautiful location. exceeded my expectations in every way.

hot water issue for first 2 nights

Our stay at Beachcomber Guest House was fantastic. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and they even allowed us to check in early, which was a bonus. The room was quiet and comfortable, with beautiful uplifting quotes and photos throughout the B&B. We loved the convenience of the coffee pods and quiet fridge. Breakfast was made to order and of great quality, with plenty to eat. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the town and train station. We felt safe swimming in the cold water, as there were lots of locals keeping an eye out. Even in October, there were open toilets and places to grab a coffee along the seafront. a lovely, friendly, and family-run B&B experience.

The shower was spacious and comfortable for someone with a spine problem. the location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to parking and nearby shopping. the room provided a variety of amenities including face wipes, flannels, soaps, and refreshments like bottled water, tea, coffee.

The building's older architecture resulted in a cramped shower, which can be challenging for those with spinal issues.

We had a fantastic stay at the Beachcomber Guest House. From the moment we arrived, Julie and Ray made us feel incredibly welcome and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. Julie was a wealth of knowledge, suggesting wonderful places to visit and dine. Ray's breakfasts were delicious and cooked to perfection. The owners, Julie and Ray, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a memorable experience. For our Golden Wedding Anniversary, Julie surprised us with bubbly, chocolates, and a card, which was incredibly thoughtful. Ray's breakfast was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and exactly how we wanted it. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to others. we had a superb stay at Beachcomber Guesthouse.

The guesthouse had a charming seaside ambiance that we both adored. the location was just right; it was close enough to easily walk to local shops and restaurants but far enough from the noisy hustle and bustle of the town center. We also appreciated the off-street parking, which made it easy to come and go. the breakfast was a great way to start our day of exploring with its generous portions of delicious fare. a great stay! ”

The traffic noise from the busy road outside did bring down the ambiance slightly. the sash windows were not effective in blocking out the noise, which made it difficult to relax after a long day out in town.

The location of the guesthouse couldn't be better, with the beach just across the road. It was so convenient to take a stroll on the sandy shores or catch a beautiful sunset. The hosts were very friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with a little fridge to store my snacks. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious, giving me plenty of energy for a day of exploring.

The toilet seat in my room didn't stay up properly.

This hotel was perfect for our needs, with basic amenities and rooms suitable for our stay. The attention to detail and friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the onsite car parking was a great convenience. The location was a plus for us as it was in a seafront position and only a short walk away from the center of town, the beach, and quayside restaurants. We had a great break at this hotel.

Just had a lovely little break in the south of England at this guesthouse that is less than a minute's walk to the beach. Julie and Ray, the hosts at Beachcomber, were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. the room, although small, was well-utilized with enough storage space for a few days. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge stocked with fresh milk, water, and even some chocolate biscuits. the car park was small but manageable, with Julie always ready to assist if needed. good value for money and a fantastic location.

The location of this hotel was exceptional, right on the seafront and only a five-minute walk from the town center. The room was spotless and had lots of nice touches like extra tea and coffee. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent and made us feel welcome.

The car park was quite small and could be challenging if you needed to use your car frequently. the self-service toast could have used some tongs for hygiene purposes.
